After applying the Cabosil/epoxy slurry (vaseline thickness) to the wedges, and placing them on the bar, I put the assembly between the two blocks and lightly squeezed. Since the FLAT bottom of the joiner bar butts up against the balsa block, it made sure that everything is completely square. The epoxy should be thick enough to keep everything in place, so you can slip it out of the jig and do the same to the next bar.
